“Alienation as we find it in modern society is almost total… Man has created a world of man-made things as it never existed before. He has constructed a complicated social machine to administer the technical machine he built. The more powerful and gigantic the forces are which he unleashes, the more powerless he feels himself as a human being. He is owned by his creations, and has lost ownership of himself.” ― Erich Fromm

Modern man, is a mechanical man, robotic man, conformist man, confused man, alienated man. Man is little more than a cog in a grand machine which man has himself has produced. And we kneel before the great machine, yearning for liberation, only to be rewarded with imprisonment in our own minds. Who make machines which act like men and produce men who act like machines. Man alone can only be understood by man alone. Just the same, society is always at work trying to make man a member of a group -- of a race, a religion, a nation, a school. Men make “idols” for to worship. When someone worships an object or a person as if it is God, that object or person becomes God for the worshiper. The idols can be a godlike figure, the state, the church, a person, possessions. The gods are idols that are the work of man's own hands -- they are things, and man bows down and worships things; worships that which he has created himself. In doing so he transforms himself into a thing.

The Left Hand Path is solitary, individualistic, personal, based on self development, self analysis, self empowerment. The left-hand path is about the elevation and centrality of the self as well as the rejection of religious authority and societal taboos. The left-hand path focuses on the strength and will of the practitioner, downplaying the need for intercession by any high power (although they may believe a higher power exists). Our philosophical and metaphysical goal of 'self deification'. Aleister Crowley says: There is no god but man. Left Hand Path differs most from other religions, we seek to be individual, unique, and not part of a Collective Mind, not influenced by anything other than our Self. Each Man be his own god! The goal of Left Hand Path is the self deification. There is no reason for individual need of a savior, you must be are your only savior and god. The LHP followers adovacate the radical freedom for yourselves. Friedrich Nietzsche said: "The god is dead and the only true human motivation is the will to power".
